Cobblestone Bay Resort

A multi-billion US$ integrated resort development located at Pier 2-Chaguaramas in north-west Trinidad, close to the capital Port of Spain. In partnership with the Ministry of Tourism we designed a 5000 acre sustainable mixed-use development master plan incorporating, cultural tourism, leisure, entertainment, commercial and smart village, transportation infrastructure and residential lifestyle communities described as a Culture-Opolis.

Aimed at international and domestic markets, especially the higher quality cruise ship visitor, the commercial benefits needed to be balanced with the environmental impact on the land, shoreline and sea based ecology.

A focal Cultural Park runs along the waterfront connecting the tourism and commercial areas with a series of cultural pavilions which appear to float on the water’s edge.
