Coastguard Building, Skegness

The Coastguard Building was originally designed in 1979 to accommodate a Coastguard lookout facility and to house public toilets, as well as providing a retail and food and beverage facility to visitors to the adjacent beach.

Located on Winthorpe Avenue it forms part of a cluster of buildings which together make up a satellite attraction area to the main Seaside resort in the Skegness area.

Following a fire the building was then extensively remodelled internally to create a light and spacious restaurant, removing all clutter from the original building to bring it back to its former glory. The new external hardlandscaping scheme is providing a year round terrace surrounded by a full height glass windbreak that provides protection whilst offering amazing views along the coastline.
