Kuwait Urban Greenery Visitor Centre

Kuwait is having to reconcile contemporary and traditional aspects of social, economic and environmental life.

Urbanisation absorbs the majority in stark contrast to the traditional rural way of life, however it is increasingly recognised that certain traditions could prove invaluable to the urban ideal.

One aspect of this reawakening is to reintroduce traditional flora and natural habitats into urban landscapes and homes of the city dwellers.

One government strategy is to create visitor experiences to change citizen mind-set and demonstrate techniques which Kuwaitis can use at home or community spaces.

Aligning such "experiences" with local culture and attraction industry philosophy requires encouraging guests to visit even on extremely hot days and operate a commercially sustainable leisure and educational facility.
