Marwell Restaurant

As part of the Zoological park’s 10 year Strategic Masterplan, Marwell commissioned rha to design a number of new facilities including this restaurant. The building has been positioned to take full advantage of spectacular views across a new African Valley, which will contain a variety of animal species. The internal area of the building has been kept deliberately compact to cater for a core number of visitors, with deck space added around the perimeter for peak days. This not only reduces the projects capital costs but also makes for a much more sustainable design in keeping with Marwell’s environmental policy.
