A comprehensive study of this famous urban Science Centre was commissioned to identify ways in which its operation and visitor experience could be improved.
Covering a wide range of individual and collateral aspects the study included; improving awareness, capacity, visitor flow, and existing content, new event programs, increased visitor diversity and dwell times, the building’s energy and environmental performance, corporate and sponsorship revenue generation, plus in and out of opening hour’s revenue generation.
All of these initiatives not only had to provide tangible benefits but importantly had to have integrity with the core aims and goals of the Science Centre. Some of the action items have already been implemented and are showing positive results.
